Our Current Situation

I had removed all of my previous blogs as a precaution, so people who are new to this site will not know the entire situation.  The simplest way to explain what led us to this situation is to tell you that my son lives with his dad, and my daughter lives with me because the judge in our district feels that boys should live with dads and girls should live with moms.  The pictures below were taken the day after Jared arrived for his summer visit with me, after living with his dad for a while.

Jared is 5 feet tall and weighs only 70 pounds.  He is emaciated and his clothes hang off of him.  I have contacted CPS and we have a meeting schedule tomorrow.  I have also hired an attorney but he is not free, and I cannot afford him.  I gave him everything I have ($3500), but he now needs another $5000 by the end of August to continue working on our case.  I honestly don't know what to do at this point other than to beg.  I simply do not make enough money to pay thousands of dollars in attorney's fees, but there is no other way to protect my son than to hire an attorney.  No amount is too small so please help in any way you can.
